Someone tell me whats going on?

Today, at aproximately 10:35 am EST a low flying aircraft passed overhead near the area I was in at the time. But this was not the kind of plane people fly for recreation, this looked something along the lines of a Boeing 747, it was very large. It was at the very most 800 feet above ground. This occurced in south eastern Ontario, very near to the Canada US border, 30 miles south of Ottawa. The plane flew low, and very fast, then pulled some crazy loopy spiral and flew off in another direction with a bit of black smoke trailing from the right wing. We are coming up on 9/11, and I’m curious..did anybody see this? It definately wasn’t some kinda of airshow, it was the only plane I saw all day. Does anybody know what it might be? It scared me.

Your description could match a number of military cargo planes, and even a couple of bombers. You did not mention what color it was or whether it had a high wing or a low wing.

The maneuver you describe could be a military training maneuver or part of an equipment test. On the other hand, there is always the remote possibility that it was an unauthorized flight of some kind.
