How much bigger is the Boeing 747 than the Boeing 777?

i was looking at the dimensions and the boeing 777-300 has the same wingspan, and is longer. but i was spotting planes the other day and i recorded some videos and i always look at pics on the internet and the 747-400 always looks bigger. does it have a much wider and taller cabin? can someone explain to me?

The 777s beats the corresponding 747s only in wingspan. Length, height and widths, the 747s score. So naturally the 747 should look bigger unless you compare a 777-300ER with a 747-200. The 747’s distinctive hump, its four engines and the bigger fuselage always makes us prejudiced and rightfully so in many cases. Span cannot add to the illusion of size unless viewed from above which is very uncommon. Have no worries, when the 747-8I debuts status-quo will be maintained.
